I am fairly certain the sword on the ground is mine but surely it does not matter in this chaos they call a war. I quickly swoop down to grab it, narrowly avoiding a curved scimitar stroke from a formerly unknown assailant. Grasping its cold, smooth hilt, I close my eyes and let its power rush through my waiting veins. The power knocks me backward and I realize that this is not my sword at all. The energy pulses through me like a second heartbeat, guiding my every movement.
I hold on for dear life as the sword and I dance through the battlefield as only swordsmen can. We slash through horse and man,
